IF Campus Update

This Wednesday(April 6) was the 32nd Annual International Festival at WCU. Our purpose was to spend time with our students and to spread HOPE. We brought bottles of water to give freely to our students and to other students that stopped by our table. Each bottle was labeled with either the word “HOPE” or John 4:14 “but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst again”.  Pastor Ken gave IF Campus the opportunity to give away the “More Than Enough” food this week. Our leaders and staff passed out the food during the International Festival. Every experience of passing out the food was a blessing to us and the person or family receiving it. One of the ladies who received the food said she knew God had sent us because she had been out of work for 26 months and she really needed the food. Thank you Jesus!!! We put labels on the food with Romans 15:13 “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”. Everyone who received the food will be reminded that their source of HOPE is Jesus and they can have peace and joy when they trust in him. We had a Korean sweets game, Twister, and frisbee at our table and the international students really enjoyed these activities when they came by our table, which is exactly what we were hoping for. We thought we had already meet all of the international students at WCU but, we actually meet three more international students at the festival. Two of the students were from Russian and one from England. These were all degree seeking students so we will have lots of time to get to know them. Thank you Lord!!

Please pray that all of the people who received a bottle of water or a bag of food will remember the gift and know that God was thinking of them that day. Especially pray that our students will respond (like the woman at the well) “Please, give me this water!” Thanks for praying for us!
